This year, Bihar is experiencing one of the most devastating flood crises in 42 years. More than 4 lakh people across 16 districts have lost their homes, livelihoods, and hope as floodwaters have engulfed the region. Rivers like the Gandak, Kosi, Bagmati, and Mahananda have surpassed previous levels, wreaking havoc on entire communities and leaving families stranded with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
